Mirrors are a great way to help babies explore. Babies are attracted to mirrors because they are shiny and bright.

They may even reach out to touch the “baby” in the mirror. Eventually, they will learn they are seeing their own face and start to recognize their reflection: Increasing their ability to focus and assist the beginning of their developing social skills.
While looking in the mirror with your baby, you can use this chance to help develop their vocabulary.

Begin by locating an unbreakable mirror or a mirror that is safely and securely anchored.
